A lightsaber is an energy blade used by the Jedi order and their Sith counterparts in Star Wars universe. The weapon is so iconic that in 2008, a survey of approximately 2,000 film fans found it to be the most popular weapon in film history. Lightsabers are hand-built as part of Jedi's or Sith's training regimen. Each of them is as unique as the one who built it, making it a true representation of its owner. If a lightsaber tells a lot about its wielder, what would an Iron Man-themed lightsaber tell you ?
Well, It probably tells us that the "Jedi" who built it was a fan of Marver's armored avengers. Or onother possible explanation is that Tony Stark decided to embrace the force and created a lightsaber as part of his training regimen. Those are some wild fan speculation right ? Okay, enough with the joke, Let's just talk about the lightsaber.
The iron Man-themed lightsaber was created by Easter57 from the Custom Saber forum. Originally, It was shown on youtube when the Ironman 3 movie came out, But with the release of the new Star Wars movie inching closer and closer, it cought our attention again.
While Its design is based on the Starkiller's lightsaber which seen in the video game ‘Star Wars: The Force Unleashed‘, its color however, is based on the Tony Stark's suit of armor. Furthermore, The maker also incorporate a mini arc reactor, which literally acts as the power source.
The only bad thing about this lightsaber is that the maker doesn't seem to have any intention to mass produce. It is unfortunate, considering how cool the device is - and that many fans would love to have it. Final words, The force is strong with this one.
