King Arts has released their own version of Hulkbuster toy, it quickly set itself apart from the rest of the crowd with its awesome feature which is letting you put an iron man 1/9 scale figure inside itself. So far, no toy maker has offered this kind of feature, they only go as far as giving you a little space in the chest cavity for you to stuff a static bust of Iron Man's head. With this unique feature, King Arts' Hulkbuster is surely worth your consideration.
As the name suggests, Hulkbuster is an armour specifically built to counter the Hulk. The main idea of this oversized armour is that it goes over the suit that Tony Stark has already worn, adding extra strength and abilities. In Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's potrayed as an armour that could fly in separate pieces like mark 42 and wrap itself around an existing armour.
King Arts' Hulkbuster is slightly smaller than the Hot Toys version, standing at 16 inches tall, it offers more or less the same functionality. It has LED lights in the eyes, chest, hands, and feet. It is made of diecast rather than plastic which makes it look fabulous and shiny. Moreover, it is fully articulated, allowing it to have a fairly impressive range of motions.
But one particular feature that set this King Arts version apart from the rest of Hulkbuster Toy is that it allows you to open up the chest and put a 1/9 scale Iron man figure inside . As far as i know, only a few of collectibles offer this kind of feature, even Hot Toys only goes as far as putting a static bust of Iron Man's head inside it's Hulkbuster. To have the full effect you can buy King Arts' other 1/9 scale Iron Man figures and you should pick the mark 43 while you're at it.
With its awesome features, you should expect a pretty steep price tag if you want to own one of these toys. $650 to be exact, and even though it sounds quite expensive, the price is fairly comparable to like iterations. Sadly, above price does not include that other 1/9 scale figure that sits inside the King Arts' Hulkbuster. You need to pay an additional $190 if you want bring home both of them. Unfortunely, paying almost $900 to have the whole package might be out of reach for most collectors.
