Bleeding Edge Armor Hinted in Avengers : Age of Ultron

Not too long ago, i came across an interesting theory on the net regarding the Bleeding Edge armor. The guy who came up with this theory was Muhammad Abdullah from Moviepilot in which he said that there might be a hint about the bleeding edge armor in the last  Avengers movie. I must say that  the theory actually makes a lot of sense and i also feel a little stupid  for not seeing it. Although there has been a rumor about the appearance of the bleeding edge armor in the next Captain America movie, but I have never found any evidence which support it  other than the resemblance of the armor until now.  But before i talk about the hint, let's see what the bleeding edge armor is all about.

What is Bleeding Edge Armor ?

Bleeding edge armor is an armor constructed upon Tony's skin by Nano-Machines kept inside his body. The Nano-Machines can transform themselves  into whatever structure Tony want them to be. All he needs to do is command them mentally and they will turn into armors, clothes, a sword, or even a boxing glove. all structures or shapes depend entirely on Tony's imagination and due to its transformation capability, the armor can repair itself and almost invulnerable. With this technology Tony can have his iron man armor with him at all times. Additionally, the armor also gives Tony a 360-degree panoramic view around himself.

Is There Really a Hint in Avengers : Age of Ultron?

In the beginning of the movie we saw Hawkeye got injured by one of hydra cannon. He was injured pretty bad and couldn't continue his job to support the team. Back at HQ, Clint Barton a.k.a Hawkeye was treated by Dr. Helen Cho with her tissue regeneration technology. She managed to cure him by synthetically creating tissue which bond naturally with his body. Dr. Banner was very amazed at the technology by saying "She's creating tissue", He clearly shown his admiration with that comment. Not long after that, came tony stark with his chlorophyll and  Dr. Helen Cho said to him "This is the next thing Tony. Your clunky metal suits are going to be left in the dust.", To which he replied "That is exactly the plan".

Cell Bonding

That short conversation between Dr. Cho and Tony Stark is the hint of the technology that could be used for creating the Bleeding Edge armor. An armor which will act like a tissue not a clunky metal suit any more.  In iron man 3 we saw tony stark already had the idea that he needed the armor all the the time, that's why he developed mark 42, an armor that can fly in separate pieces and wrap itself around Tony's body. At this stage, Bleeding Edge armor would be a natural progression from the technology used in mark 42.

Will Captain America 3 Feature the Bleeding Edge Armor ?

The above theory about Bleeding Edge armor future appearance in Marvel Cinematic Universe is very convincing, but i am still not sure if Tony Stark will use this armor against Captain Rodgers in Captain America : Civil War. I think the armor would be too powerful and it's still too early for the armor to appear.  In my opinion, this movie will be be starting point of bleeding edge armor development and will be combat-ready in Avengers : Infinity War.
